In Support of Muslim Talents:
Muslim Comedy Night
MAPCanada and United Muslims partnered up to present a Muslim Comedy Night
event in Toronto where 500 people attended. Preacher Moss and Azhar Usman
entertained the crowd showcasing their talents as dynamic Muslim
entertainers and unique professionals.

MAP Your Future Student
presentations
MAPCanada (Youth Services), in conjunction with Muslim youth and the Pearson
School Council completed a career workshop entitled "MAP Your Future!" at
Pearson Collegiate Institute on February 13, 2004. The workshop introduced
several professional to students giving them the opportunity to interact and
gain insights into their professions. A second MAP Your Future event was
held mid-year, for participating schools in East Toronto. |

Pathways into I.T. Lecture and
Networking Event
A much needed Information Technology (IT) event was hosted by MAPCanada at
York University on Jan. 17, 2004. The event titled Pathways to I.T. focused
on providing guidance and direction to seasoned professionals and budding
students alike by utilizing the knowledge and experience of two well
established IT professionals. |
